Dr Sian Virtue-Griffiths (she/her)
Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar
Employee of YCP since 2023

I am a registered psychologist, and a clinical neuropsychology registrar, and am passionate about promoting the psychological wellbeing and cognitive health of clients. I combine clinical knowledge with a warm and empathetic client-centred approach. Adopting a strengths-focus, I am dedicated to helping clients recognise, and build upon, their strengths.

My experience and background

I have experience completing neuropsychological assessments for adolescents and adults with a broad range of concerns including ADHD, learning disorders, language disorders, complex mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia. I believe that an immense benefit of neuropsychological assessment comes from translation into positive client outcomes, through intervention. Because of this, I have contributed to programs offering cognitive interventions and group interventions for community psychiatric patients and brain cancer survivors via Telehealth.

I am passionate about offering interventions to clients, both psychological and neuropsychological interventions. I have a particular interest in completing assessments for cancer patients/survivors who are experiencing cognitive changes. I also offer sessions to support clients with both their cognitive changes and their mental health/adjustment difficulties, all of which are common following cancer.
